Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

These Terms govern the Virouter website, dashboard, and API gateway. Review the pricing, manual renewal, and payment terms before purchasing quota.

01

Eligibility and acceptance

These Terms govern your access to and use of virouter.com, the Virouter dashboard, and Virouter API services (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing quota, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement under laws applicable to you.

02

The Service

Virouter provides an API gateway that authenticates and routes requests to supported third-party AI model providers, exposes model and integration interfaces, records usage and billing metadata, and deducts charges from your Billing USD Quota. Virouter is an intermediary and is not the creator or owner of third-party models. Model availability, capabilities, and provider terms may change.

03

Accounts and API keys

You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys. Revoke or rotate any key you believe has been exposed, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to [email protected]. Do not share credentials with support staff.

04

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service in violation of applicable law, to infringe another party's rights, to commit fraud or facilitate harm, to evade authentication, rate limits, or security controls, to attack or disrupt the Service or upstream providers, or in a way that violates applicable upstream provider policies. You may not resell or sublicense access except where Virouter has agreed otherwise in writing. We may investigate suspected violations and restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the Service, or legal compliance.

05

API access and availability

API access is subject to rate limits, model eligibility, and quota shown for your account and key. Limits and model availability may vary by plan, provider, and operational conditions. The Service depends on third-party providers and networks; Virouter does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability unless a separate written service-level agreement says otherwise. Current incidents may be shown on the status page.

06

Pricing, quota, and payment

Current package prices, included Billing USD Quota, and model usage rates are published on the Pricing page and in the customer dashboard before checkout or use. Plan prices are stated per month. Renewal is manual: Virouter does not automatically renew a plan or charge your payment method when a new month starts. To continue, choose and pay for a plan again. Each successful payment credits the stated quota. Quota is an internal service balance, not cash and not withdrawable. Usage deductions depend on model/request pricing and may include input, cache read, cache write, output, image, or other generation usage and the applicable billing-group rate. Check the current rates before sending requests; estimates or reservations may differ from final settlement based on actual usage.

Payment is processed by the payment method/provider offered at checkout. The amount and currency presented by that provider at checkout govern the transaction. Any applicable taxes or provider fees will be shown at checkout or handled as required by law. Quota already credited does not expire while the account remains in good standing, unless checkout or applicable law states otherwise. Consumed quota is not refundable except where required by law or where a verified service failure or billing error warrants an adjustment. For a duplicate, failed, or incorrect charge, contact [email protected] with your account email and payment reference. Contacting support does not limit non-waivable rights you have.

07

Your content and third-party services

You retain any rights you hold in prompts, files, and other content you submit, and in outputs to the extent available under applicable law and provider terms. You authorize Virouter to process and transmit content as necessary to provide the Service, including forwarding it to the upstream provider selected for the request. Third-party providers process content under their own terms and privacy notices. You are responsible for having the rights and legal basis to submit content and for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Do not submit sensitive personal data unless you have assessed the relevant provider and feature terms.

08

Intellectual property

Virouter and its licensors retain rights in the Service, software, branding, and documentation. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. They do not grant rights to third-party models, provider marks, or software beyond licenses provided by their respective owners.

09

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that it will meet your requirements, remain available, or produce accurate, complete, or suitable model outputs. AI outputs can be wrong or unsafe; independently verify them before using them for consequential decisions.

10

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Virouter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or loss of profits, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any other limitation of liability is subject to that rule and applicable law.

11

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary due to a breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or security risk, non-payment, an upstream provider or payment-provider requirement, or legal obligation. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Accrued payment obligations and provisions intended by their nature to continue will survive termination.

12

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Where required by law, or for material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or to the account email before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; otherwise, stop using the Service if you do not agree.

13

Governing law

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under the laws applicable to you. Any dispute-resolution process will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
